🪴 Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Soak Seeds (Optional):
- Soak broccoli seeds in clean water for 6–8 hours to speed up germination.
- Rinse and drain well.
- Prepare Tray:
- Fill your tray with 1–2 inches of moist potting soil.
- Gently pat down to create an even surface.
- Sow Seeds:
- Scatter soaked seeds evenly across the soil surface.
- Do not bury—just press them gently into the soil.
- Moisture & Covering:
- Mist lightly with water.
- Cover the tray with a humidity dome, plastic wrap, or another tray (to block light for the first 2 days).
- Germination (Days 1–2):
- Keep in a dark, warm area (~70°F).
- Mist twice daily to keep moist but not soggy.
- Uncover & Light (Days 3–7):
- Remove the cover once seeds begin to sprout.
