Planting Instructions for Chinese Forget-Me-Not Seeds

  1. Location: Choose a site with full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
  2. When to Plant: Sow Todd’s Seeds Chinese Forget Me Not seeds outdoors in early spring after the last frost or in fall for spring blooms. It can also be started indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost.
  3. Soil Prep: Loosen soil and mix in compost if needed. Ideal soil pH is 6.0–7.5.
  4. Sowing Depth: Sow seeds 1/8 inch deep and lightly cover with soil.
  5. Spacing: Thin or transplant seedlings to 6–8 inches apart.
  6. Watering: Keep soil evenly moist during germination (7–14 days). Water moderately once established.
  7. Care: Deadhead spent flowers to extend the blooming period. Chinese Forget-Me-Nots may self-seed under ideal conditions.
  8. Bloom Time: Late spring to summer. Suitable for borders, beds, and cut flowers.
