Planting Instructions for Broccoli, Alfalfa & Radish Sprouting Seed Mix

  1. Supplies Needed: Quart-size wide-mouth jar, sprouting lid or mesh screen, and clean water.
  2. Measure Seeds: Use 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the seed mix per jar.
  3. Soak: Add Todd’s Seeds Broccoli, Alfalfa & Radish Mix seeds to the jar and fill with cool water. Soak for 6–8 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse thoroughly.
  4. Rinse & Drain: Rinse seeds 2–3 times daily with cool water. After each rinse, drain completely and store the jar upside down at an angle to allow airflow.
  5. Location: Keep a jar in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. A room temperature between 65–75°F is ideal.
  6. Harvest: Sprouts are ready in 5–6 days when they are about 1–2 inches long with green leaves.
  7. Final Rinse: Give a final rinse and drain well. Remove any unsprouted seeds or seed hulls.
  8. Storage: Store finished sprouts in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Best used within 5–7 days.
