  3. Soil Prep: Loosen soil and enrich with compost or aged manure. Ideal soil pH is 6.0–7.5.
  4. Sowing Depth: Sow Todd’s Seeds Cabbage, Red seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep.
  5. Spacing: Thin or transplant seedlings to 12–18 inches apart in rows 24–36 inches apart.
  6. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist. Water at the base of the plant to avoid disease.
  7. Care: Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 3–4 weeks if needed.
  8. Harvest: Harvest when heads are firm and reach the desired size, about 70–100 days after transplanting. Cut at the base with a sharp knife. Remove the entire plant after harvesting.
